In 2012, Bill faced a tough battle with stage 3 colon cancer, which led to surgery and chemotherapy. This life-changing experience gave him a new perspective on health and fitness, inspiring him to help others live their best lives. During the 2020 lockdowns, he started sharing home workout videos on YouTube, quickly gaining a loyal global audience.
I was lucky enough to create a portrait for Bill—a true honor for me. Capturing someone so dedicated to inspiring others and overcoming challenges was an experience I’ll never forget.

He fine-tuned his skills at Weaver Academy, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and Elon University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre. He’s passionate about telling stories that truly represent people who might not always see themselves reflected on screen.
I had the incredible opportunity to draw a portrait for Jaylan, and it was such an honor to capture the essence of someone so passionate about his craft. He’s an inspiration both on and off the screen!
